What is Concerta used for?
Concerta (methylphenidate) is a stimulant in the central nervous system. It affects chemicals in the brain and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity and impulse control. Methylphenidate prolonged release is used for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy.
